It was lovely walking around the grounds. The house or shop wasn't open due to the Covid Pandemic. Would still recommend a visit to clear away the cobwebs.

Lovely place to visit especially with the space and colours of Autumn. Do wish the cyclists all had bells, and used them though. Think there should be a Beware sign up!! There is a tea coffee cake biscuit hut outside and more tables to sit near the car parking which is good. Toilets close early I guess, when the van closes? Lots of people still there after 4pm so wish they could stay open longer as many of us needed to use them!

This is fairly local to me so I can visit easily. The house is only partially open now, will be fully open in March. There is a very smart tea room in the chapel and a restaurant in the main building. There are acres and acres of land to enjoy or walk the dog, picnic on a fine day. If you are not a National Trust member there is a charge for parking plus to visit the house but the grounds and formal gardens are free, there are many interesting trees.
