Dropped in for coffee and a snack, (no booking) and had a lovely window seat overlooking Plymouth Sound. The all glass construction gives magnificent views, and the log burner and smell of wood smoke was delightful. Friendly and attentive staff provided a speedy service, making the whole visit a delight! (You could just relax and read my book \Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay\ by Steve Pick available on Amazon kindle!) The picture shows Plymouth breakwater with my private yacht - actually a Royal Navy frigate!

Lovely cafe with good food. Unfortunately the timing of breakfast service seems to change daily and isn't what's advertised on the menu. Turning up on time we were told breakfast was no longer offered and only the lunch menu was available. This has happened before. Why advertise times if you aren't going to use them. We left for another cafe.

We dine here a lot, and usually the service and the food is outstanding. However, we came for breakfast which usually ends at 11.45, but we were told at 11.42 that breakfast closed at 11.40, without warning. This has happened three times now - once I came at 11.20 and was told breakfast had ended. The end time is on their menu. On this particular visit, I found the boy waiter quite rude and stern when he told us that breakfast had ended. Other than that, the restaurant has a nice sea view (especially on a sunny day) and serves a good selection of food and drinks. They also allow dogs!

Great location for a coffee break, even better for breakfast. Excellent service, lovely food. Very good Covid safety rules, felt comfortable there.

Excellent location. Great staff. Food a little more expensive than other locations but well worth it! Highly recommended
