I have rented a room 8-9 years ago, what started kinda okay. I had no issues, always paid in time, kept the property clean. After I have decided to move out, they didn't pay my deposit back because apparently I had other people living in my room with me.. just because the landlord saw me hanging out with some other people in the property, doesn't mean that they lived with me in that tiny room... I tried to prove it, but no one gave a monkey.. Just because I am a foreign person, doesn't mean that I will try to sublet it to someone else or doing something dodgy... shame on you!

Dreadful, diabolical, pathetic, useless! How can this company is actively trading is unknown. Anyway, trading standards are informed so very best of luck! I am writing on behalf of my good friend to share his unfortunate experience from Plymouth Letting Agency. Professional or Good con man? We will let you decide. 1. How can an agency treat their tenant who pays their rent on time without respect and like second class citizens? 2. How many times do you need us to inform you the problems that required treatment in the property? No heating, dump, repairs etc! 1 year or more? Maybe until you are closed down? My friend has bronchitis and has recently been to the hospital due to the abysmal living condition of his rental property. 3. On another case, I do not understand how can this agency issue an eviction notice within days? Must have a few templates hidden in their draw?
