Plus size bridal shopping can be emotionally painful and not the joyful experience you might hope for. Not at Prudence. I've now had dealings with 3 different staff members, and I've felt empowered, not judged and assisted by each one of them. I couldn't recommend them more.

Thank you SO much prudence gowns Plymouth for helping me find my dream wedding dress. From the start I knew this was the shop for me, the girls via email and telephone were amazing. I travelled 2 hours to get to them and it was well worth it! Laura was soo lovely and really friendly and she made the experience so perfect and fun along with the rest of the staff both face to face and over email. I think this makes a huge difference when the staff are so kind and caring about such a special day for yourself. I have found the dress of my dreams and I am so thankful to you for making this happen! No words can describe how amazing this shop is and the staff are!!! i will recommend to everyone I know a thousand times over and trust they will have a great experience just like I did! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Had a lovely experience finding my dress, the lady who dealt with us was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much bother and she made me feel very special. It was something I was weirdly quite nervous about but she was very friendly and professional. Can't reccomend enough!

I would highly recommend prudence gowns for all brides to be. I was looked after by the lovely , professional , friendly Ellie in the Plymouth boutique. Ellie was very welcoming and attentive. Very helpful and honest with my self trying the dress on. I was in and out the store with in 20 minutes , quite simply as I knew I had found my dream dress from the second I tried it on. Loved my short and sweet experience with prudence gowns. (I am not a ditherer , I know what I want. Hence why I was so quick to decide on the dress that I wanted) Thanks again Ellie.

I had the most amazing experience yesterday at Prudence Gowns. I entered the shop feeling slightly apprehensive and nervous (no idea why) and was instantly put at ease after Leanne, who was on reception, welcomed me, my mother in law to be and sister in law to be. We were pleased to find that she would be helping me find a perfect dress. I went in after extensively searching Plymouth and surrounding areas and seeing my dream dress on Prudence Gowns website. I tried my dream dress and 5 others and came back to the original one which I had Loved since seeing it online. Leanne was brilliant, she made me feel so at ease and added accessories to the dress. She accepted my opinions through the whole process and I was never made to feel judged or was I mistreated like some of the reviews on here say. I can honestly say I loved every moment of being in Prudence and went in with a very open mind and knew I would leave everything to the experts (as I am certainly no wedding dress expert). I am now even more excited than I was yesterday and I can’t thank Leanne enough for her guidance and advice and also for putting me into the 6 gowns, 4 veils and the hair peice I tried on! I was then given a big bottle of bubbly to celebrate with after choosing my dress which was such a thoughtful surprise. Thank you so much!
