Had lunch with friends under an awning in the garden. Worked really well - not at all cold, totally dry, and the food and staff were fabulous as always. Great way to have a Christmas meet up with a small group of friends in these strange times. Heartily recommend.

Had lunch at The Brook yesterday and was excellent. Top food, attentive and happy staff and lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit any day of the week !
Food was nice and the staff lovely. The pub is really nice and there is plenty f parking. We chose the pub for dinner as it is dog-friendly...and we felt very comfortable.
Had a gorgeous lunch here earlier today, I've not been for years, and now I'm wondering why! We were greeted by a lovely lady who clearly enjoyed her role, as did our waitress. She was quick to serve drinks, no long wait for food order nor our food to arrive. When it came the portions were hot and plentiful and was nicely presented. The brownie stole the show, more so when we found its secret! I'll be happily coming back in the near future!
Nice local ale, jail ale right? I like it. And the cherry tree is blooming in sun light. Quite lovely pub.
