Fantastic home made pies , great quality food, fresh ingredients and generous portions. And very friendly staff. Inside bar and restaurant beautifully decorated.

Really lovely country style pub. We went for Sunday roast lunch and were very impressed. Great value for money, especially the children's portions. They like to serve a lot of gravy so bare that in mind if you prefer less (like our kids). There is parking but fills up quickly.

We have returned here to enjoy our first dinner experience since lock down.... a few things to say Staff very friendly although we booked in advance we were advised and requested a special table as special occasions I don’t feel this was considered or recognised ... the menu was limited and as we appreciate the current situation we made allowances And staff were lovely I feel that standards could be better, our dinner was served warm so by the time we finished it was cold having said that the meat was perfectly cooked but that Was all I can pretty much say was good. I really would like to see a cheese board on the menu at all times but sadly not here especially with good red wine left... I can’t say it’s been particularly enjoyable to be honest. But thanks anyway xxx
