Needs a market to brighten up a dull city
A great shame the big TV could not be saved but hey ho ever onwards, nothing lasts forever. The Piazza is at it's best when hosting an event, otherwise it feels big and empty.
Plymouth itself was lovely and our hotel was fab but the reason for our visit was the xmas market which i must say disappointed. Online it says there is over 60 stalls. We counted around 30 and they were very expensive and alot of them sold food so we didnt find any gifts so not a satisfying visit
Lovely relaxed place to people watch x
Pedestrian area used for special events. Bench seating available along sides. Royal Parade end of Piazza is dominated by Big Screen display. This is used to show live coverage of major sporting events. Family films are also shown at times. Seating is provided.
Nice place to sit and watch the world go by
Not as nice as it was when the big screen was there but still a nice place to sit by the sun dial and chill out
