I had a good time living here, the location was AMAZING for me cause it was literally so close to a lot if shops. I lived in apartment A and the kitchen was my favourite part. The landlord Charles, is super friendly and he was mostly a quick replier, he answered my emails and calls on time. He handled technical issues very quickly so I have to commend his team on that. I found the place through Purple Lettings so I got a lot of emails from them as well but between them and Charles, I was always informed if there were viewings going on. The pandemic made things really hard for me because 2 of my flatmates moved out and I literally had to scour the whole house which included their mess as well, so that upset me but I was able to do it and move out eventually. With my deposit, we did have a minor challenge as my mattress wasn’t in pristine condition (get a mattress protector guys) but Charles was really nice about it and split the cost with me and I was super grateful for it. All in all it’s a 9/10 for me. Superb place. Only issue was with mail though. Sometimes they couldn’t get in the building to drop the mail off I hope this review helps and good luck.

Charles (Student Clubhouse) is a great landlord. Easy to contact and responds quickly to emails. Nice accommodation with rooms well set up for students. Laundry room and bike storage room on site too. Any maintenance issues are addressed promptly. And when they can't be, regular updates are sent via email. You won't go far wrong if you decide to move into Student Clubhouse Plymouth for the year.
Property is amazing, along with a modern-esque design on the interior, along with an ensuit bathroom and laundry built in on the lower parts of the building. The landlord is very understanding and easy to contact with any problem you may have. Hope everyone enjoys their stay, especially in Apartment A, Flat 5!
PROPERTY As a previous tenant, the property is in a good location. Plymouth is small but being on Mutley gives you access to a lot of shops very quickly, and cheap shopping from Aldi. Being a busy road, it can get noisy if windows are open but with them closed it's a non-issue. The flat I stayed in for a year was nice and having an ensuite was essential living in a house of 4 students total. LANDLORD I have lived in several properties dealing with landlords and estate agents and whilst it can be incredibly difficult to find a reputable estate agent that isn't throw-away, the Landlords have been much better in responding to issues or queries over the property and Charles fits into this category. DEPOSIT Overall, this was a very good and professionally handled experience. whilst I did have some issues, my specific scenario was not standard which complicated the issue, but with good communication we came to a solution. FINAL THOUGHTS This property is more expensive than I would have necessarily wanted to have paid, but ultimately this is a case of getting what you pay for, the extra money spent per month gave me a great place to live for a year and would recommend it again.
