I love this place and always take people there when we're visiting the Barbican! Service is incredibly friendly and cheerful, and the ice cream is always incredible, with weird and exciting flavours (lime and avocado sorbet!) as well as old favourites. The flavours rotate so there's always something new to try. The bean feast dessert is ridiculous in the best way!
So my family and I (three of us) walked here after going out for dinner. We forgot our masks as we weren’t planning on going anywhere just for a walk when saw this icecream place. As we went to the door to ask if we could come in. We were turned away for not having masks on. There was no one else there except the two employees. Now I’m not someone complaining about the mask rule(I agree with wearing masks. They had just slipped our mind). I am complaining because while we stood outside decided where to go from here. The same two employees let in a family of five, WITH NO MASKS ON! My issue is consistency. Why turn us away who are paying customers for not wearing masks, but let others in who don’t have them either? Safe to say I probably won’t be going back, staff were rude and not happy with the double standards.
Nice ice cream and nice coffee as well. Service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are on the Barbican.
Not disabled friendly.is up a small flight of stairs.menu (which is extensive and wonderful) cant be seen without going up the stairs. Options on a board at street level would be a good idea
Great ice cream and lots of it. Yes, you can buy cheaper. Like most things....if you want something decent you've got to pay for it.
I love this place and the atmosphere over there. The coffee is great and ice creams tasty
We had milkshakes you get more for your money in a milkshake. As they put 3 scoops in ,very nice staff clean and tidy with sitting area out side.
