I work for a local business and found an injured squirrel on our grounds. These guys were all too happy to take the little fella in, no questions asked, and try to help him. Super friendly staff.

DO NOT trust this vets with your pets. My cat was very ill with an abscess just before lock down. They saw her and prescribed antibiotics. The abscess got better but then a few weeks later it reoccurred in the same place. This happened where the abscess kept opening up around 8-10 times. Each time she was prescribed antibiotics. When I questioned this, they advised taking a swap to see what the problem was. The results came back (after me chasing them for 3 days) that she had a rare form of fungus issue which normally occurs in dogs. They also said that this would be a life long issue and there was not a lot they could do. They then prescribed her steroids. This didn’t help at all. In the end after 6 months of the same problem I took her to another vet that had been recommended by a friend. They saw her that day and operated 2 days later. When they got the result back from their swab, it turns out that she actually had ECOLI!!! I really feel this vet didn’t care that my poor cat had been suffering for months. We wrote a letter to them to complain and they couldn’t even say sorry. We also spent a pretty penny on antibiotics and steroids that were not needed. All in all I am very disappointed with their lack of communication, know how and care.

I cannot stress enough I that will never use this company again and will actively promote that others do the same. I understand that there are out of hours charges and that in an emergency more costs can be expected but the extent to which they bolt on extra costs is criminal. They advertise that the cost is 125, when you actually get charged closer to 200, this is before anything is even done. My dog was checked over for a few minutes to be asked what I wanted to do because it could be anything. I'm sorry but as the vets and animal specialists the route of treatment resides with you, don't respond with 'well if you want to we can do something' with your hands in your pockets. This is not the first time I have heard this problem either, sadly you are the only ones people can turn to for out of hours emergencies. Thoroughly disappointed doesn't even cover it.
