Inexpensive local venue, good selection of beverages and consistently good real ale(usually a choice of 2). The locals are very friendly, and there is often live music on Sunday afternoon.
One of the friendliest pubs going... Bar staff are absolutely brilliant... Highly recommended
Traditional English pub, lovely landlady. Offers pool & darts & has a really cool African parrot in the corner of the bar.
One of the last old school pubs around. Weekly entertainment darts team pool team etc. Not trying to be upscale and trendy just a nice place to go for a drink

Absolutely love the experience every time I visit here, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic landlady, always something different going on, down to live music to parties! A must place to go!
