While I think that Dr Negvesky is an excellent Dr. The customer service in the optical department is terrible. I broke the frame of a pair of glasses that was under warranty. When I called instead of them order a replacement they made me schedule an appointment 5 days later to bring in the frame so they could determine said frame was broken. After 30 seconds in appointment they ordered the frame which took a week to arrive. My mistake not scheduling second appointment to get frame so I get to wait another 5 days for next available appointment. Nearly 3 weeks will pass before glasses are fixed. Go anywhere else.

My experience at Pocono Eye in East Stroudsburg, is always 5 star.. The staff is excellent, caring and they work very hard . My doctor, Doctor Negvesky is the best Eye Doctor in the tri state area. Professional, brilliant, on point every time, careful and caring. I have complete trust in his care and know he will keep my eyes going until the end of my life. I should have taken the advice from the reviews...customer service was very poor. I was told at check in that they didn't take my insurance- despite being told it was when I called to make the appointment...which I had to do through another location as the East Stroudsburg location wasn't answering their phone during business hours! What was even more annoying was that no one seemed to care ...no apology or anything. Even if my insurance changes I will not use them ... at least not at this location

Pocono Eye Associates is second to none. I spoke with the doctors and most are Ivy League trained. They are very professional and efficient. They are extremely busy but still somehow always have time to answer my questions
