Well maintained neat and clean station in the outskirts of Coimbatore city. Not much crowded and peaceful atmosphere

One of the worst railway station ever seen in my life span, no digital display installed to identify the coach number, Public addressing system is very poor quality, aged people has to suffer by climbing the steps, more than 500 passengers are boarding in this station in a day, but Railway doesn't care about the public. Even though funds are ready to be utilized, no proper higher officials intrested to improve this railway station We require basic amenities Water Dispenser Tea shops in all platforms Lift or escalator Proper digital display to notify the coach number and Train number Proper public addressing system CAN ANY ONE SAVE THE PUBLIC ESPECIALLY SENIOR CITIZENS
This STATION SHOULD ME MAINTAINED MORE , EXPAND AND CUT THE TRAFFIC PEOPLE ENTERING INTO THE CITY FOR TRAVELLING
Neat nd clean but the digital display board s missing...sinc the trains hold for few mins...peopl gt into wrng compartments...
The station is well maintained. But proper public restroom facilities are not available. Shops are opened till late night. I visited the station once during 12 o clock night time. It was pretty active I have to say. Shops were open, others commuters were there, even a police officer was on rounds in the station.
Neat & clean station with less facilities, parking is not available in & around.
Lots of improvement . Podanur junction has a great historical name . Memories of the Raj are palpable at Podanur Railway Junction, which came into being in the 1860s. Walk down the platform, once paved with cobblestones, and peek into the past — British couples walk arm-in-arm to catch the train; Anglo Indian drivers and guards rush to work the trains One of the oldest railwaystationin Tamil Nadu .
Clean and not too crowded probably owing to Corona situation.
