Station is very neat and clean. But there no display on platform details and coach position sign boards. Bit difficult to locate the coach position..
It’s used to be main railway station for Coimbatore before Coimbatore junction was formed.. They still maintain exactly the same how it was during British rule. The construction is so brilliant and strong even after 100 years. It’s not necessary to board a train from here , just a visit would bring memories of those good golden old days.

Podanur railway station is best facilities in parking for both four wheeler and two wheelers comparing with CBE Station. And also nice ambience
