The good thing about this place is drinking water for dogs. The muddy dog \beach\ is a joke. Not worthy going there.

2 stars for the big area but \the dog beach\ is a joke. It's more like \dog muddy puddle\. And also its really far away from main campsite so not very convenient for dog owners.

Huge space for dogs to run around without being worried that they might run away while chasing something.

Peaceful and with mercifully few dog walkers early in the morning

This was a disappointment. Advertised as a dog zone with water access. In reality it is a fenced square and then after you leave it there is mud, access to mud water and a path. We were lucky to get there when there was no one there but with more dogs it can get rather unpleasant. If you like your dog to keep clean, forget this place. On a hot day you are just standing there with no shade whatsoever, and going into water does not seem like an appealing option either. There are nicer places in Vienna to go to than this one.

Do not go here. The fenced in hundezone is large, but the ground has many pits that are a danger to any dog in a full run. There is also no shelter for shade. If you're going to take them swimming, it's even worse. The hundestrande is a muddy marsh, and not at all like the areas for people where you can walk out a great distance in shallow water - which is why we took our dogs here. The mud is VERY unstable and unsafe! For a person, you can be walking carefully and the next instant one of your legs has been sucked down into the mud completely up to your hip. It's not much better for the dogs, and not worth the physical risks. Of course, if you want your dog clean it's a no go - but we didn't care about that as much as we cared about the safety of our dogs' legs and joints. It should also be noted that there is no place to clean your dog. While there is one solitary spout for water, it's not useable for hosing them down or anything - only for filling a water bowl.

So not go here. It is not to dogs at all.

Größer Sauberer Platz. Hier können sich die Vierbeiner austoben ohne dass man sich Sorgen machen muss.
