The Contemporary Art Centre of Montenegro, based in Podgorica, is a national cultural institution established by the Parliament of Montenegro on April 4th, 1995. The program concept of the institution implies the realization of programs in the field of visual arts. Our goal is to bring contemporary art closer to the audience by organizing exhibitions. We pay special attention to significant international presentations of contemporary regional, European and world artists. The Contemporary Art Centre of Montenegro is the organizer and executive producer of Montenegro’s participation at the prestigious review of contemporary art – the Biennial of Art in Venice. The Contemporary Art Centre of Montenegro has four exhibiting spaces: the ground floor at the Petrovic Palace, the “Perjanicki dom” gallery, the “Club” gallery and the “Centre” gallery. It disposes of a fund of over 1000 art exhibits.
