MAPSS (Montenegrin Association of the Political Science Students) is a non-governmental organization that was founded in 2006, at the Faculty of Political Science, in Podgorica, Montenegro. The fundamental and primary aim of MAPSS is to contribute to the improvement of political science students’ status through organizing a set of events (panel discussions, conferences, discussions). MAPSS also tends to improve conditions for scientific, educational and cultural cooperation between associations and other organizations with similar activities both those in Montenegro and those in other countries. MAPSS consists of thirty members and it is a part of IAPSS (International Association of Political Science Students). Some of the organization’s previous (and current) projects include: 6th IAPSS Academic Conference – “Challenges to the Global Political Economy”, MAPSS's Forum of Political Science, Visits to the Parliament of Montenegro, Ambassador days, „Let’s negotiate“.
