Janův hrad, called Janohrad, is an artificial ruin of a medieval castle on the edge of the Lednice-Valtice area. According to the contemporary fashion of Romanticism, Prince Jan of Liechtenstein had it built here in 1801. As one of the few artificial castles of the time, Janohrad was designed as a habitable and served as a hunting lodge and hunting lodge, where the manor gathered during the hunt and held rich banquets. The castle flows around the Old Dyje on three sides. You can travel to Janův hrad on foot, by horse or by boat. I recommend walking to the minaret and the boat from there. the boat trip from the Minaret to Genoa Castle costs 180 CZK per person

The only artificially built ruin I've ever heard of. Great story behind it, cool things to see. Make sure to come there by a boat ride!
Nice and quit place wit Street Food kiosk in the summer. You can eat something here and walking inside in the Castle. Nice for bicycles Trip stop.
It is a very nice place to visit, but I don't recommend make the tour inside, nothing special to see.
Soo nice, romantic place, good for cycling around, sometimes one can even get some simple refreshment.
Not crowded, very nice atmosphere. Worth visiting.
Well preserved, you can come by horse carriage, bike or boat here
We approached by car, but the best is probably on foot from the castle. Or by bike. A lot of people picnicing. The castle was closed at the time, but it looks good from outside too. Relaxed place.
