Just like any other semi-rural bus station. Did not see any bus timing board. Some shops for emergency food, snacks available. Old Bus stand is just the other side of the road. Slightly crowded place. Some what safe for ladies.

Cheating is the main problem in this bus stand. Police do not act. When I was sitting on the seat in a bus going to Thrissur, a person came inside with a piece of textiles. He encouraged the passengers to join the oral tender. Then the price of textile has come up to Rs. 30. Then he gave the textile to his colleague standing outside, saying that the price of that material is 450. And he gifted pen to all of the five person who had joined him for the bid. The next time it was another textile and this time about ten joined and they got combs. And the textile was also taken out saying that it costs 550. This process was continued. And the number of participants were increased. At one point, he gave one shirt piece which could be purchased from the nearby shop for below Rs. 100. The bidder paid Rs. 450. And only after the payment he would realize that the passengers who were found active in the bidding scene have been disappeared. They are also the part of cheating group..
