Ristorante Tiberius Pompei was a pre-paid lunch stop for our tour group, after visiting the nearby ruins. The food was quite good and artfully presented, and service was prompt (aided by the fact that we were the only group at the time). The appearance of the place is a bit over-the-top. Everything is white and faux formal, given it a corporate feel. And this place is HUGE, with restaurant seating for 100's of people and beautiful gardens and grounds out back. They obviously cater to tour groups and large special events, and they seem very well equipped to handle them; but I don't think I'd recommend this place for individual diners. Menu selection, quality, and price depend heavily on what your tour group negotiated in advance, so your overall experience may reflect as much on the tour group as the restaurant.

This was a great pizza place near POMPEI. We each had a small personal pizza and salad. We chose this restaurant for our group tour. Did not disappoint.

We were here as part of our coach tour for lunch. Good choice of venue. The garden was nice to walk through after we'd eaten

I'm not sure if I can be a great judge of how the restaurant is ordinarily, since I was there with a bus tour. We were served and fed practically \factory line\ style, with the food coming out sporadically. Lunch was three courses, with salad, pizza and a small pieces of cake. Depending on what type of pizza you ordered, service was either fast or slow. For instance, my pizza was one of the first to come out for the entire bus, but the other 3 at my table got their pizzas after everyone else on the bus, to the point where some had been served dessert and coffee. There was no service beyond staff plunking a plate in front of you and moving on. The food itself was good and filling, considering that it was an included lunch with our tour. One drink (soda or water) had been included, but coffee or tea or another soda/water was additional cost. There was no question of gluten-free or any other type of diet accommodations. The pizzas were really tasty and different from what I'm used to.
