It is one of the finest college and research institute for fisheries science under Tamil Nadu fisheries university. Here they offer B.fsc,M.fsc,B.E fisheries science degrees . It has good infrastructure in a strategic location near by ponneri railway station and on state highway .
I am the student of Fisheries college and Research institute, Ponneri. The college gives us well Proffesioned Fisheries Graduates in Tamil Nadu. They provide us UG and PG courses. Be a part of like this in the college , I like much more.
The university located in a place where it was a just a open land for many years , I feel someone did a good job of using this place efficient and given a symbol for ponneri but looks like they have to maintain and use the space more efficient in future which should be useful for public like adding aquarium and availability of sea foods.
