1rst time We rented a car there during the pandemic, so they had a lot, and I mean a lot, of cars parked there out of service. Until here - normal and I understand. Less cars to choose. The price is very good. The condition of the cars we drove was normal, not spectacular. It seems the speed of the cars is limited, not sure. And it has hundreds of miles done, not recent. 2nd time - disaster - the pick up time was 23:45 at the airport, they left a phone number that didn't work, nobody at the meeting point and nobody call me. I was more than half an hour trying to call that number, and others, without answer. I sent text, mail. The airport was closing so we called a taxi. Suddenly a call, a girl saying that the guy had been there (lie) and that we should not move because he will come back. He did, but it was 1:45 - we were really tired of waiting so much time after a plane trip late in the evening. People can get late, can even fall asleep, but to give you a phone number that doesn't work??? The rental and the delivery worked normal.

No problem at all with this car rental. Fast check in. Friendly people. We were provided by car that we ordered. Airport shuttle provided (at the end of the trip). Despite good experience I would like to suggest to provide guidance to all customers that they do not need to go by walk from airport to rental house. We did not see any sign at the airport and did not know that there is possibility to wait for "shuttle".
Was not properly informed by them and ended up paying insurance twice. Also I booked a Fiat Punto or similar, and ended up getting a much smaller Fiat Panda.
If something goes wrong, unfortunately contact with the company is cut off. They do not respond to e-mails, do not follow the rules set by themselves in "terms and condition of rent". Their approach to the client is disrespectful. The owner can get acquainted with the case by following the e-mails I sent regarding the reservation 24337 and assess whether in this case it can be said that your mission of customer satisfaction is fulfilled.
AVOID. They will try to their best to get as much money from you as they can and will provide you with the oldest and worst car possible. They are NOT located in the airport so you will have to wait for a all other customers in a pick up bus and then drive to a distant parking.
I do not usually write reviews but this company way of doing business is a shame for Azores tourism. Looks like mafia like organization forcing you to take their insurance doubling the price of the rental. Adding extra costs where ever possible. I have used many car rental companies in my trip in the Azores and had 0 problem with all companies but this one. A Shame. I strongly recommend to take any other company but this one. On top this is one of the few companies without booth in the airport.
TO BE AVOIDED !! Worst experience ever for car renting in the azores ! Fifth company we use in the archipelago and first time we experience this. No counter at the airport so you lose time in logistics. The kind of rental companies that tries to extort you money and force you to take their insurance doubling the price of the rental !!! Charge you extra for cleaning also !!
Good service, rent your car online if you want to see all the prices easily, they take you from and to the airport as needed for your flights
