If you like oak this timber yard is not to be missed. I was on holiday from Warrington and found AW Hardwoods on the internet. I have never seen such a wonderful collection of oak. I was interested in fairly small off cuts to make boxes but they have a fabulous range of large section oak. The owner was very friendly and personally guided me to a wonderful selection of off cuts. Very reasonably priced and excellent friendly service. It is a little hard to find but trust your sat nav and you will be rewarded by a wondrous experience. The only clue is a sign saying wood yard.
