Always one of the best places around. Really like going back in time. Been coming here since we visited from the USA in the mid 90s and still go today.

Lovely hidden gem, so peaceful that you would notice any street noise. Our afternoon tea was generous and tasty. Will be going again!
Amazing food! I would highly recommend the halloumi burger. The staff are so friendly and welcoming too. I'm very happy Cromwell's is open again.
I and a friend went for lunch at Cromwell and its was very nice,It was very covid aware with sanitiser before entering and you had to wear a mask before being seated. The staff were very pleasant. We just had a light lunch but chose off the breakfast menu. We had a pot of tea each and the coat was just over 12 for the 2 of us. The toilets were nice and clean. This completed a nice trip to the shops in Pontefract. Worth a visit.
The food was very good and it was served by friendly staff. I liked the old fashioned and comfortable interior, a hidden gem.
