The midwifes, nurses, doctors etc have always been FAB. By far the friendliest bunch I've come across, they are a lovely team who always make you feel comfortable and will go out of their way to care for you. Booking appointments can be a bit of a pain though. The phone system doesn't always work!

Whenever you call it’s user busy so can never get through! I need to get a doctor to book me a mri scan because of my leg which the last doctor I went to about my leg didn’t examine just assumed she knew what was wrong and told me to look up physio exercises on the internet DESPITE me telling her I’ve been doing them for years and they don’t work I now have began to lose feeling in the same leg randomly and now can’t even get through to make an appointment so sadly going to have to bother 111 AGAIN so they can bloody ask them to do it
The doctors are fine. But the receptionists Are so much hard work And think they know everything. If they would shut up. And listen to what you are telling them. Everything would be done a lot more quickly and efficiently.
My father has been ill this week and unable to get to the surgery and so we phoned the surgery to request a home visit. My father was visited during the timescale we were advised of and the young Doctor who examined my father was wonderful, very caring with a lovely, reassuring manner and put my father at ease. We think he is called Dr Sheik or Shayk and he is a new Doctor to the surgery. We cannot praise and thank him enough for his care and attention and hope he stays with Friarwood for a very long time.
My appointment today was on time. I had an SMS reminder. The practitioner was very upbeat. I was offered an extra service! I can’t think of a way to improve my experience today.
