Lovely little cafe/takeaway. Nice selection of cakes and ice reams. And of course coffee and teas. Loads of well spaced out picnic tables under the trees. Was really pleasant sitting with a lovely coffee listening to the birds singing.

Delicious home baked scone, still warm, with butter and blackcurrant jam. Made that cycle ride into the prevailing wind well worth while.

Lovely, friendly, helpful. Lovely latte and cream scone. Traybakes are great too. Perfect for hungry cyclists. Offering a takeaway service, with plenty of seats both under cover and outside. Thoroughly recommended.

We were looking for a coffee in the wider area whole passing through and happened upon the Kirkley Cafe. The coffee was great, the chocolate cake delicious and the scenery is just relaxing. If you are in the area, drop by :-) Side notes: The usual crowd is likely more the bicyclists from the other shops. The toilet was clean enough.
