This place is close to everything most interesting in the city. The staff was friendly and most helpful like most people I have met in Spain. I shall return.

Review from my Mam and Dad who stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is on the southside of the old town. The area is buzzing with people in cafes and on the paths chatting and having their drinks. It's also close to all the sights. The reception is a small desk at the entrance in front of the lift and stairs. The receptionist speak perfect English and are very friendly and helpful. Check-in was straight forward. NOTE: This is a Camino hotel so mid afternoon there may be a queue at reception. Also early morning you may hear people moving about some more noisy than others as they think everyone else are not on holidays and need to be up too.. There is a small lift or if you feel fit a stairs to your room. The room overlooking the street had wooden parquet flooring, a large wardrobe, a normal double bed, a single armchair and a desk/table for the flat screen TV. The TV had no English channels but did have some music channels. The bathroom was a nice size with a strong hot shower in the bath. The shower curtain was not fit for purpose as water escaped on to the floor. A nice looking feature but potentially dangerous, a window porthole over the bath. It fully rotates open. This is the only ventilation in the bathroom and you are dissuaded from opening it during showering as you will wet people on the street which actually happened to my mother. It also gathers water from the shower. A hair dryer is available at reception and you are advised to leave your key at reception when leaving the hotel. Overall an old hotel in a perfect area of Pontevedra that may not suit holidaymakers because of the early morning noises from the pilgrims. It suits pilgrims perfectly. Pontevedra is a lovely city to spend a few days. We completed a 5hr35 (21km) circuit that we downloaded from wikiloc. There is also a 14km historical walk visiting sites as old as 2500 years ago.

Very good for a one night stay. Clean, nice bathroom and good bed. Quite old and not very nice. Perfect location.

Rooms were clean and was an ideal place to lay your head whilst on the camino de Santiago. Bar downstairs and the tapas with your drinks where outstanding and very fulling. Would stay again.

It's alright. Don't expect anything fancy. Rooms are somewhat tight but price is fair. Location is great.

We were on Camino de Santiago with our bikes, they said that had a place to store them, but we had to carry them downstairs through a very narrow place... The acomodation had not air conditioned, but the kind recepcionist offered us a fan (that worked ok). The location is very good.

STAY AWAY! Absolutely the worst experience of the Camino Portugues! I was woken by BEDBUGS one hour after going to sleep. I have spent 6 nights of my trip in albergues and 1 in a private hostel but I haven't had such problem before. I wanted something more private to relax on my birthday so I booked a room just for myself. I payed 30 for bedbugs! Also none of the people who work at the hotel speak English, the rooms are old and dirty, especially the bathrooms. The corridors smell like urine and the internet connection is very close to non-existent. There are weird noises, smells and lights from the kitchen downstairs. I wish I had stayed in an albergue, because I'm 100% sure I would have had a much pleasant birthday-night with 20 other people in one feet-smelling room. Please stay away for your own good!!!

Poor standard. Host could not speak any english. Room that was allocated to us was still dirty on arrivel. We were given another room on the second floor which was very noisy. Toilet seat and shower curtain broken. Worst hotel that I have stayed in, in Spain at least. Old and out of date.
