Great lunch not too expensive, staff very good
Lovely calamares and tortilla. The mains, average. I'd go back just for the calamares and tortilla. In fact, I've been back and the tapas side of their business, above plus padrón peppers, octopus, is very very good.
A delightful place to eat, offering typical tapas and some more unusual dishes. The menu reflects this by having different sections for the traditional fair and the more adventurous food; both are worth trying. Pricewise, Na Morada Das Parras is not cheap, but it won't break the bank either. Our party of 9 ate a light supper for under 20 each. The wine list is not extensive but it has a good variety and includes Galician wines of varying qualities. The restaurant is not on the beaten track, but well worth going out of your way to find. The traditional old stone building has been well adapted to its new purpose and there are three distinct eating areas: under the vines - which is both outside and yet cosy; the indoor dining room; and the conservatory viewing area at the back. The views are not stunning as it partly overlooks the Porto do Molle light industrial estate in the valley below, and the garden could do with a bit of attention. This is not really a detraction, however, as the food and the atmosphere are what make the place.
The best!
