Nice walk and beautiful forest. Can get very crowded in summer, but definitely worth a visit off-season. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the town 700m away.

Lovely swimming spot, with lifeguard at peak times. Also sand pit, toilets, picnic area and river walk.

Gorgeous setting up from the town. Walk from town only takes ten minutes or you can drive up. Main river pool is about 80m long and I swam many laps with only a few people floating around. A small splash pool also available for kids.
