This fantastic Aire is on the edge of the town beside a main road roundabout, river and park. It's beside a normal carpark that gets busy. The ground is tarmac and is not level although we were ok as it suited our shower drain. The Aire has no shade. Be aware if there is a sporting event on the river this Aire gets very busy and full. There are full free services excluding electricity. There are actually 2 service bays beside each other. The grey waste is a normal ground drain. The black WC drain is on one side of the central terminal under a cover which is all stainless steel. There is a push button tap just above the drain to clean the cassette. There is also a button to clean the drain itself. There are 2 fresh water taps with normal screw-on connections and a press button with excellent pressure. One press will give 10 litres. There was a large green bin on the road below the Aire. The town is 5 minutes up the road with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. We recommend Bar Elvira for menu del dia for 9. It's really good homemade food. There is construction of new apartments next door so it is noisy all day but stops at weekends. We had 2 good nights here and the road noise was no problem. There is a river beach and picnic area about 15/20 minutes walk away that is great for kids. Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..) We did not encounter any mosquitoes here eventhough we went for a walk in the park late in the evening which has a small type marsh and stagnant water.
Very close to the center, with great walks along the river
Short walk into town. Nice and clean
Clean site with two disposal facilities & drinking water but not an attractive place to stay the night and desperately busy with motorhomes queued up to use the facilities (most leaving their engines running, which isn't fair on those staying - or eating as we were).
