With stunning views, originally on this site was a roman watch tower, the folly you see today is a rebuild of tower built around 1765 to 1770 and renovated around 1831 but due to it being open to the elements it began to fall into a state of disrepair during the 1930's, in 1994 the folly was restored to it original state and reopened to the public, the folly is located on a working farm close to Pontypool Park.

Love walking up the folly and seeing the outstanding views
Good view of the valleys and surrounding countryside
Lovely walk, not to steep, we'll worth it for the views, such a lovely area and lots to see in the surrounding area.
Beautiful landscape all around. So quiet and peaceful. On a clear day you can see for miles.
Brilliant walk great views and great for the mind
Sadly closed but it opens on some holidays. Worth the trip to see the views of the Bristol channel, Pontypool, the Skirrid Mountain, the Sugarloaf mountain and Llandegfedd reservoir
