Exploring with Porter

Great place for sailing lots of activities to do here on the water. Free parking with lots parking available and a little walk down to the sailing area before getting suited up. Great views of the surrounding area and some great walking adventures to be had. Lovely little cafe here as well which has been recently build, friendly staff lovely food. In the summer this place gets really busy, people having picnics and dog walkers everywhere so I would suggest getting down there early to get yourself a good spot to relax for the day before tucking into your sarnies and crisps. All in all great place to go with the kids or the dogs especially if it's sunny, great place, if you've not been before it's definitely worth a visit this summer, lovely day out

I went hear for the first.it was late so the cafe was closed so went for short walk I have to say what a great looking place and lots of walks to do as well as some activities on the water. I will definitely go back soon earlier in the day .

Brilliant day out, something for everyone. Lovely picknic area next to the lake and a very clean cafe overlooking the lake too. Afternoon tea can be reserved for you which is lovely. Food in the cafe is great, not much choice of sandwiches but other food choices on the menu. The staff in the watersports part are very helpful.
