Outstanding food. Went at lunchtime. Wonderful Halloumi fries and essentially sausage and mash but with carrot and swede mash, and locally sourced pork sausages. Definitely going back and will next time go for a picnic bench. No hesitation in recommending

Managed to book a table for their first day opening back up. So glad we did! Incredible food, all 3 courses were cooked to perfection, piping hot and we cleared the plates! Our waitress was lovely, so attentive and helpful, as were the other staff. Couldn't fault it at all, highly recommended.
Lovely food & friendly service. We had sticky prawn and chorizo scotch egg starters then steak burger with bacon & cheese and beef and venison pie. Reasonably fast service. All food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub, great Sunday lunch, although could have been a little hotter for me. But I do like my food piping hot. Young staff waiting on were friendly and efficient. Covid safety measures in place, blind between our table and the next one, sanitiser on tables etc. Would recommend the roast beef and the lamb, both were very tasty. Will definitely call in again for food.
Excellent quality food good menu choice. The staff are very friendly. They are very covid aware with all tables being well spaced out with all orders being taken at your table
