Thank you automotive!! Checked my car in with you this morning to correct wheel wobble. Previously paid kwikfit 60 and was told its potentially my brakes if not resolved. Todays cost to fix the problem just 16 and my car can now drive over 60mph thank you so much for being an honest and trustworthy garage. I'll never go anywhere else. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas

My engine light on my 2016 Ford Focus ST Estate came on and I took the car to DG Weavers in Talbot Green, the car had had this issue in August and the Ford main dealer changed temperature sensor 3, now the light has come on again and DG Weavers told me it is the DPF filter that has totally blocked and needs replacing at a cost of just below 2000 including labour but their was a 10 day waiting list. I decided to take the car to AP Automotive in Pontypridd to see if they could clean the DPF filter. They ran some diagnostics on the care and said that there is nothing wrong with the DPF and it was a sensor that had gone, when the sensor was previously fitted by Ford the harness was routed incorrectly and the harness had rubbed against the bodywork causing a short, AP managed to repair the sensor and the car is now working fine. I will no longer be taking both my car or my wifes car to DG Weavers for any future servicing or repairs.

Booked my car in my normal garage they informed me of a DPF filter clean and they couldn't sort this issue for me. So called AP Automotive and booked car in for DPF clean after reading previous reveiws. They carried out a diagnostic test and informed me that there was simply a split in the DPF pipe and sorted it. Only charged me for the diagnostic test. Absolutely superb service and will definitely be booking with them again. Thanks All at AP Automotive 5 from me.
