Aspen house - wonderful, warm and a safe place. My mam's last year of life was here, she was nervous going in, she was frail, scared and had physical difficulties. She was looked after very well. Her needs were met everyday. Her diginity was kept she never felt anything but safe. The nurses and carers were patient and understanding. They, although very busy, managed a quick natter to make my mam feel better. I could visit anytime I needed to. Always had any information I needed from the office. All staff including the cooks, cleaners, admin staff all very friendly. My mam's room was bright, clean and warm. She took some things from home to make it feel like her home. The menu was varied and covered any dietery needs she had. Staff would always keep something for later if my mam wasn't feeling very hungry. The staff were also very kind to my children. I really couldn't ask for anymore from the staff at Aspen house. Thank you very much Aspen house.
