Vanessa and Justin have been awesome! We had never boarded our dogs before and I was nervous- but the whole process was very reassuring. The thorough screening reassured me that every dog's safety and comfort, medically and behaviourally, is their top priority. We recieved detailed updates throughout their trial stay, and the assessments show they really get to know each dog personally. Our dogs came home tuckered out and in great spirits. As rescues I thought they might have been stressed by being left in a strange place, but they were truly made to feel at home at Pooched, and they were quite content after their stay. Highly recommend, and we'd be happy to have them take care of our pooches again any day!

I cannot say anything bad about the owners of this business- very kind and obviously love dogs- the facilities are new and clean. Also, this is their business and their rules which I get. The frustrating thing for me was their lack of willingness to work with a puppy (10 months) that was new to boarding and experiencing some anxiety. First of all, to get them to accept a dog is a very lengthy screening process- tons of paperwork. They also state that the dog has to be neutered- so we did this. Second step is a trial 24hr stay at your expense. I brought my dog for the trial visit and they turned him away after 10 mins and told me to come back and pick him up- saying he was hopeless and not board-able. I do not claim to be a dog expert but I'm pretty sure it takes any living thing longer than 10 mins to get over anxiety. If you suspect that your dog will be missing you at all, I suggest another boarding option and to save your time and money as I put in more time filling out their paperwork than they gave to my puppy.

Our pup's go-to stay every time we leave town. We feel at ease knowing that she will be well taken care of (dietary, habits, etc) and that she'll have that at-home feel even when we're away. We are updated regularly with how our dog is doing and we can count on daily Facebook photos. Another bonus - Justin and Vanessa take great photos! We have at least a couple framed, and a few up on our fridge.

Dare I say they treat our dog even better than we do? We love these guys. Great communication, lots of activity and attention to every guest. Our furbaby is looking forward to her longest stay soon.
