Short version; Chris Ryan and his team have always listened to my requirements and discussed their proposed investment strategy to provided excellent returns. They are a friendly team that take the time to discuss your aspirations and interests so as to allay any concerns you may have. I first sought an advisor in 2003, after a personal recommendation from a colleague pointed me to CB Financial Services, later taken over by Chris to become APEX CB. I had heard horror stories about managed funds having excessive fees and hidden charges so from the outset I expected, and have always received, complete transparency about all related charges. You get out what you put in. I'm talking about your discussions with Chris where you detail your risk profile, explain your short and long term goals, ethical views, green concerns etc. It's only when Chris is satisfied that he understands your requirements that he will propose an investment strategy and explain his choices to manage your expectations. My personal circumstances have changed over these past 17 years and so has my outlook on risk, hence I have seen my portfolio of ISA and pension reinvested in many different managed funds. I can say that \DON'T PANIC\ is a key phrase to remember when watching your fund take a dive through the 2008 stock market crash and the current 2020 COVID 19 crisis. My portfolio has always performed far better than average and continues to grow. I am not a financial advisor, however I would advise anyone to start some sort of savings as soon as you have a bit of spare income and would strongly suggest you talk to Chris as his advice has worked well for me.
