I ordered something from Argos and have been to collect it at different times of the day four times now and each time there has been a queue right around the car park to the car park entrance. I am exasperated as they will not allow me access to just pick up from Argos, so I will never use the click and collect again for Argos or indeed this Sainsbury's for groceries. No other supermarket at this difficult time is as badly organised!!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. My mum has been publicly humiliated in this store by the rudest young lady who clearly wanted to argue with anything that moved. Quite frankly I'm shocked and disappointed. Working in retail myself I'm surprised at the lack of policies in this store; I'm am confident that having a list of personal details about a customer written out behind the counter for all to see (both customers and staff) completely throws all GDPR regulations out of the window for starters. Secondly, why offer a warranty on games consoles if you're then going to refuse to repair or repair the faulty product just days after its purchased? Thirdly, vocally accusing a customer of \MALICIOUS DAMAGE\ (which by definition is innacurate anyway as it was her own property that she had purchased which hasha software issue) in front of your colleagues and other customers is vile. I have personally met many people at my own workplace who are dishonest and scrounging for money, sure. But I don't humiliate them and I uphold respect. Either way my mother is neither dishonest nor malicious and it's clear that the fault she returned the product with wasn't caused by her and should be covered under the supposed warranty. There was no effort to check the product or offer any support to a paying customer, the sales assistant felt it necessary to instead insult and deter both my mum and other customers from returning. So congratulations Argos Talbot Heath you've lost a minimum of five customers from this incident. I'd like to point out that whilst this incident unfolded my mother was completely ignored by a manager and received no apologies at all and has been very upset by the whole drama.
