Happy with my care from Dr Jack at this surgery, she actually listens - and acts on my wishes as the patient. As I have numerous health conditions, this is important to me; in the past I have found many doctors (in various parts of the country) ignored much of what I told them. It *is* difficult to get GP appointments at short notice, which can be an issue for things like bacterial infections. And if a different doctor writes me a prescription, they don't understand some things... for example, I can't use eye drops because of my stroke - I'd poke my eye out!!! However, most things can be sorted out satisfactorily. Timekeeping for appointments at the surgery usually seem to be on time, or thereabouts. I no longer use the pharmacy on the same site as my GP, following several dispensing errors in the past. However, I believe this to be a separate business from the GP practice itself, so I won't mark the surgery down based on that.

Reception : always helpful and thoughtful, try their best to fit in appointments, polite, making you feel welcome. Nurses helpful, put you at ease with a smile. Doctors welcome you give you a sense of being thoughtful, caring, thorough in treating your needs, very professional in their approach of your wellbeing. Outstanding practice.

Have been a patient for 20 years, sadly over the years the surgery has got worse and worse. Wait 3 weeks for an appt and when you do get one you they are generally running an hour late.
