Jon has done an amazing job ripping out our 27 yr old kitchen which was falling apart, & fitting in the lovely kitchen we purchased from Homebase..It really looks brilliant. Jon wasn't fazed by a problem with our electrics, which he fixed & made safe. Jon was reliable, on time & always with a smile..Nothing was too much trouble for him...He didn't mind our dogs helping him out ! Thanks again Jon x

Jon set out to knock through our kitchen to make a open plan kitchen/diner. Jon bricked up external doorways and windows as well as doing all required carpentry. The end results are absolutely brilliant and it has really transformed our house. Jon was always willing and able to find solutions to inevitable problems that occurred along the way. His worksmanship, punctuality and tidiness was absolutely faultless. Jon was in constant contact if any issues needed addressing whilst me and my wife were at work. I would thoroughly recommend Jon and Dovetail carpentry for any building project you may have. The attention to detail and pride in his work was superb and, for this, I thank him. Cheers, Jon!
Jon has completed a couple of jobs for me now, as a first time buyer with little knowledge he’s been great with advise and helped us get the look we wanted for the budget we had. Firstly Jon removed a wall opening up our lounge and removed a chimney breast on the first floor. The chimney had been left unsupported when the previous owner removed from the kitchen, I never would have known this so really grateful Jon had the experience to spot. And it also made our bathroom a bigger, better space. Jon then came back to fit our new kitchen. It looks amazing and couldn’t be happier. He advised us when to get all the jobs done (plumbing/ gas/ electrics) which saved us time and hassle. Will be using Jon again to do our loft conversion and would recommend Jon to anyone!
