It is a good small station, only 2 lines, one line ends at Weymouth and the other line ends at London Waterloo at the furthest points I believe. There is also waiting rooms for bad weather. Friendly staff, see one gentleman there who always says hello and lovely that they have a Christmas tree in the waiting room during the festive period
