Rare of me to offer a review. Only started wearing glasses 4 years ago and felt I was missing something from the overall experience from the last opticians. So I tried PEC. From start to finish these people are all professional and so friendly. I am a raving fan now and wished to express my gratitude, thank you PEC

Our family have used this Opticians for many years and I highly recommend. Always helpful and friendly, offering a good all round service. Parkstone Eye Care do all our regular eye tests / checks and supply monthly contact lenses for several of us. Today I called them as I have had a recent eye issue and they fitted me straight in, as always an excellent service. If you need a good reliable Optician give them a try!

Well I am disgusted with this place. I took my poorly mum in who also has macular degeneration. Her eye sight is obviously bad. The optician asked Mum if she could read the top letter and she said ' no, not really and he just said 'there's nothing I can do.' He said he'd order a magnifying glass which would take 2 weeks to come. That was a couple of months ago and haven't heard a thing. Found the staff not particularly friendly at all. My mum maybe elderly and poorly but she's not stupid . In the meantime I booked her into Classic Eyes on Penn Hill Ave. She had a substantial eye test and a scan ( paid 70 for scan ). She now has 2 separate pairs of glasses. She can see much better through both. One for distance and one for reading. Also referred to Bournemouth eye unit for macular injections. Thank you Classic Eyes and Mr Anderson at Bournemouth hospital. Parkstone Eyes was sadly recommended to us by a 'partially sighted ' charity. I will never return and due to the optician not even willing to test mum's eyes they lost out on a lot of money. Please don't go especially of you have macular degeneration .
