Terrible communication in regards to explaining issues that you might be experiencing as well as prescribing antibiotics and treatments without any real justification as to what they aim to achieve in helping with any issues you may have for example ,prescribing antibiotics for skin issues without actually doing test to determine what those issues are and ultimately the antibiotics causing more issues then they solve as well as in my personal experience, going to them with an issue that they have failed to identify or follow up on for over a year now now causing numerous health issues of which have affected day today life and caused numerous problems of which I still have no answers as to why they are occurring, this practice is increasingly more difficult to get in contact with a doctor within a timely manner and nine times out of ten your symptoms have changed or regressed to a point where you require referral to the hospital or a trip in the ambulance. In conclusion I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy and they really need to shape up before they end up getting themselves sued if they haven't already been.

The service is disgusting! I was told by reception they are full to capacity at 8.30am and can not guarantee a call back ( very difficult ) and that I am only doing my job ?!! Really !! I am in shock that they get away with speaking to people in this manor ! I telephone every day for 3 days and was told to go to the pharmacist or if it’s serious call 999 about a urine infection or to call 111after 18.30 Which I did I I was seen at Bournemouth hospital at 19.30pm. luckily After confirming I had a urinary infection , they found my blood sugar levels were extremely high! I am now diabetic and on medication ! WHILST THE SURGERY IS OPEN YOU HAVE A DUTY OF CARE TO YOUR PATIENTS. I await a reply to the above
The staff are rude. Patients are treated like an inconvenience. The GPs are actually not that bad but it's impossible to see one without dealing with the rude, condescending, slow, and inept women who guard the precious doctors like a pack of Gollums. Not to mention the phone system with it's endless messages before and during the hold cue. Hold which lasts too long and oftens ends with you being cut off.

The level of service supplied at this surgery has dropped massively in the past few years. From misdiagnosis to admin team making decisions on my health.
Since moving from Westbourne to Parkstone over two and a half years ago we have found it practically impossible to speak to ANY GP at Tower Practice. Going through their laborious, repetitive, and time-consuming e-consultation service leaves you with the kind of advice you can readily get from your local pharmacy. Anything slightly more serious (we're talking about a persistent skin issue with our 9 year old son) and we're instructed to call 111. Makes one wonder what kind of public service they provide. Very, very little in our experience.
Rude receptionists, who think that they run the NHS! Total disregard for patients. Covid or not, receptionists do not have the right to talk down to patients.
Dr Glenister is amazing. I completed the econsult and included a pic of a mole I thought was unusual. The Dr reviewed the photo and asked me to come in to see her the following day. She was excellent. Professional, kind and even took the time to educate me a little too! She was also incredibly helpful to complete a routine test at the same time. Brilliant.
