I would give 20 stars if I could. On arrival after booking we were directed to our table by a really nice lady at the entrance, we got explained how the restaurant works and got a really nice welcome. We were looked after by Katie, she was lovely, couldn't ask for a better service. She explained to us the menu and also a few recommendations. The food is AMAZING! I'm a Spanish girl, so my standard for fresh seafood is quite high, this definitely exceeded my expectations. Will definitely come back!!

Our second visit. The food was just as good as the first time. The fish is cooked perfectly. Service is good. I had hake which was lovely. Served with a smile even if the waitress was wearing a mask. Felt very safe as the tables are well spaced out and the staff follow all of the necessary guidelines. We'll done Rockfish!
We happened upon Rockfish restaurant in shortly after our arrival in Poole. We had not made a reservation, but we were greeted promptly and politely. We were led to a large table and given very clear information about what procedures had been put in place due to Covid 19. We enjoyed an excellent meal of scallops and haddock, and my partner took advantage of the unlimited supply of french fries! The food, service, layout and attention to detail were excellent! We felt totally at ease and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
We visited Rockfish only a couple of days after they reopened following lockdown. The welcome host was excellent, friendly and informative, letting us know what they are doing to protect staff and customers. Starters were lovely, we had a half pint of shell on prawns and 'calamari' (cuttlefish). For main we had hake and Dover Sole, unfortunately the Dover Sole was undercooked. The cost was taken off our bill along with our bottle of wine and a new perfectly cooked fish brought to the table, albeit a little while after my wife had finished her meal. We will be returning to Rockfish, despite the slight hiccup, due to the way complaint was handled by our host, who was very professional and apologetic.
Really fresh food.. good service.. waiters and waitresses had good knowledge of the food.. and catch of the day was great to defo recommend this restaurant.
