Visited on 31/08/2020 Food is your typical Slug and Lettuce affair. Foods not great. Would recommend as a cheap meal during eat out to help out. Normally your money is spent better elsewhere. Staff are lovely and make the experience a lot nicer. COVID handling is great and one way systems in place with lots of hand sanitiser.
I recently went to Slug and Lettuce in Poole with a party of people! Had such a great experience from the start to the end. Had the assistant manager come over and make sure everything was alright throughout the night which was absolutely lovely! I believe her name was Cassie, in which she was super lovely the whole night and made sure me and my friends were happy with the food and drinks! Very friendly staff! Food was at top notch quality, drinks were served to amazing standard! Would definitely recommend 10/10! Will be going there more often!
It's a slug, no review necessary. The sad thing is that the beautiful period pubs close by can't compete on price, choice, space and light. The old pubs are beautiful but need serious renovation. The greasy food here made us feel sick.
great well priced food. friendly staff. due to popularity of Eat out to Help out the menu was limited however they made substitutions where possible. ie no bacon for baguette but replaced with full side salad! lots of spacing btn tables to allow social distancing.
Never in a pub have I felt so welcome, I would like to put a personal thanks to Mark and his team (I’m sorry I forgot the hostesses name and the bartender they were both brilliant). It’s good to see a bar follow the strict guidelines that the government have given. They were very welcoming and made my night. If you wish to go to a bar that treats everyone the same this is the pub to go to! Price of drinks is great, the staff are great, no complaints at all, will definitely be coming back in the future
Fantastic restaurant. Great choice of menu for Vegans, Vegetarian's & meat eaters. Classic drinks menu, with great 2 for 1 all day cocktail offers. Very friendly staff. Child friendly during the day. More for adults during the evening. Disabled entrance near the back garden area. Just minutes from Poole Quay. Well worth trying. Enjoy.
