Using a unique programme of digital media inspired learning, THE MEDIA BUS is the ideal vehicle to enhance existing educational opportunities, inspire new learning, tackle social issues, motivate NEET young people, train the long term unemployed and provide new ITC skills for older people. THE MEDIA BUS has virtually limitless possibilities providing access to digital media technology to young people, communities, artists, business and media industry professionals. The bus will tour state-of-the-art digital media technology to any area including rural, disconnected and disadvantaged communities. Travelling throughout the South West the environmentally conscious high-tech double-deck bus will reach annually over 13,000 users and provide them with an opportunity to participate in either formal learning programmes or part-time non-vocational learning using media to inspire creative expression and skills acquisition.
