Owen is a gem, the Poole Store Manager. He is exceedingly helpful, friendly, and incredibly well informed. Clean store. Strict guidelines in terms of socially distanced retail.

Their Fantasy and Science Fiction board games are fun for all ages using the structure; build, paint, play and story reading. Supplying a verity of model kits to build and figures to paint. Their usual service is coaching and leading session games from hobby, personal character development to larger battles and tournaments. Their shop has a on way system, plenty of signage both inside and outside the store, maximum of 6 people and protection screens they keep to the guidelines in accordance to the government on top of their own.

Super friendly staff and not pushy at all, gave me lots of information and advice which lead to the purchase of two Codex to aid me in decided what my come back to 40k needs. I was amazed at how much knowledge the gent had on all the platforms in store and in turn has made me want to try a couple of them out for myself. I will be returning on the 24th to make my purchases and take advantage of the freebies on offer that day! I cannot recommend this store enough and it's great to support local stores and meet like minded hobbyist.

Owen, the store manager, is the nicest man you'll ever meet. He is probably the most passionate person in England about Warhammer. This man literally makes Ork plane noises for the fun of it. Not to mention his knowledge of the game systems, units, meta and more are like the Bible of Warhammer. Poole, and the highstreet itself, would be nothing without that man, and he makes going to Games Workshop an enjoyable, knowledgeable and very entertaining experience.

Really good - lots of support and help from the staff and lots of friendly gamers. It's a fun and relaxed environment and you can just turn up and paint or request a gaming demo. You don't have to spend money either. My partner and I had a great time today building models for a couple of hours and look forward to spending more time here in the future.

Had a good time with Owen and the locals at this store. I got the value from playing there, hanging out, painting etc without feeling like a burden. Mostly a relaxed atmosphere. Not pushy at all with the sales and seem to help people choose what they want and help them find good value in box sets etc.
