An oasis in a skate desert - North by Northwest Surf Co isn't only a surf shop, they also sell skateboards and longboards as well. I spent a good portion of the day driving around the Olympic Peninsula looking for skateboard grip tape, finally finding some here for under 8. North By Northwest Surf Co is the only skate and board shop for miles, I can't recommend them enough.

Great shop. Perfect for rentals or purchase.
Guy who was filling in for the owner (Tate?) was super kind and humble. Talked to me at great lengths about the area and how to have a successful surf experience. Very grateful I wasn't treated like some kook, so I bought a new wetsuit and boots which are really nice quality and comfortable. I would reccomend this shop plus the coffee stand next door is dope. The guy who left a review of the owner as a drunk is a idiot and obviously is simply a hater. Stop here. Support your local surf shop and give back to the community.
Awesome shop, have purchased two boards in the last 3 Years. Showed us a few tricks of the trade in set up. Also came back down way after close so we could get some help with another board. That was above and beyond. Really appreciate the help.
Friendly staff. Boards were ready to go when we got there. Beautiful dog too.
