The drive up to Sol Duc is beautiful. There are about 5 or 6 pull outs with picnic tables, some with views of the Sol Duc River. There is a 30 fee to enter the National Park. The cabins are boxy but nice inside and out. The restaurant was very basic, tables and chairs. The staff was very nice and food was good. I don't quite get the hot springs, possibly a health benefit? Basically large hot pools with a bit of an odor. We were done in 20 minutes. The highlight of the trip was the hike to the Falls. If you want a longer hike start at the camp, I assume it follows the river to the falls. We drove about a mile to the trail head. It's a very easy hike (perfect for kids) with great rewards at the end. Quite amazing views. I could have spent an hour soaking it all in. I saw people with mountain bikes and I'm sure lots of hiking trails. If you get anywhere near Sol Duc you might want to check it out.

way too expensive for no customer service, dirty bathroom dirt everywhere, toilet was chipped, bathtub/shower had barely any water and was not worth the price or trip. the location is good, but the hotel itself sucks
We love this place because of the hot springs pools. They have four or five different pools varying in temperatures. I great size cooler pool to cool off in the hot water. Our cabin was located 50 feet from the river which is very nice. Somewhat affordable 200 had a great time so Will you. Social distancing was practiced and full pool rules limited amount of people in each pool. Food is kind of spendy for what you get.
Great hot spring resort in beautiful setting! Don't expect a private, primitive/back-country experience. Some may be disappointed that this hot spring is fully developed with pool-like tubs. However, the water is wonderful and clean with life guards and very family friendly. Don't let the appearance fool you, though- the spring water is untreated and does not contain chlorine or other added chemicals. Changing area is like pool locker room with showers. There is a restaurant with pretty good dishes but a bit on the expensive side. There is camping and cabins available on the premises. Check for seasonal hours as it does close for a portion of the year.... Yes- the water smells like sulphur.
This was the first time my wife and I visited here, and we stayed from Monday to Wednesday. The surrounding scenery and Sol Duc Waterfall was breathtaking, and the hot springs melt away all your troubles and worries. It was very nice being 'free' from technological overload since there is no television, Internet, or cellular service. The resort is staffed by folks who are exemplary in customer service, and we would like to thank Austin, Micheal, Wanda, Nathan, Libby, and all the warm and friendly housekeeping and support staff. Thank you all for giving us a very memorable time!
All of the cabins are spaced out and private. Awesome views from any of the cabins. The cabins are not luxurious, but they are 100% functional. The lodge is nice and the spring fed pools are nice and big. This place is an awesome base for many great day hikes. Is a good place to stay at the start or finish of the High Divide Loop home too. At a minimum, stop to see Sol Duc Falls if you visit the resort.
