From here one can get tickets for boat from Port Blair to Swaraj Dweep , Swaraj Dweep to Port Blair or Shaheed Dweep, Port Blair to Sahid Dweep and back. At no where proper instructions boards are not kept. One more thing to note that booking starts on Monday for trips starting from Monday to Thursday and on Thursday trips starting from Friday to Monday. During remaining days tickets are issued for the said slots if available. Local islanders are given priority to issue tickets. I observed that many local young boys and ladies were in que to get tickets on behalf of travel agencies. I would like to request concern authorities to make necessary arrangements so that travellers may get tickets on line.For budget travellers journey by government boat is good option as private cruise operators charges 2 to 2.5 times fare than that of government boat fare. I would like to draw attention for future travellers that make program to visit considering days of tickets availably as most of tickets are sold on the first day. So, stand in que on the day around 7.30 AM so that there are more chances to get tickets definitely. On receipt of tickets visit NSB i.e. rose island in the morning and afternoon visit Chatham jetty, Chatham saw mill, Samudrika museum and at evening visit carbon beach at night visit light and sound shaw at cellular jail.next day go to Swaraj Dweep or Shahid Dweep as per your convenience.

It's the ship ticket advance reservation counter for the government ships. There is no proper system of providing information for ship departure timings and the availability of tickets for each such ship. General passengers who travel without any travel agent get confused a lot. The agencies get preference for booking of tickets as per desire. Online booking would definitely bring the clarity and all the visitors through out the world would be benefited from the online ticket booking system.
Better start early to get the booking.
Very bad system. No clarity in booking status. They can make ticket booking online. But they don't do it. Agents are given preference.
